MSc in Data Science at Berkeley University

At Berkeley University, nearly everyone is eligible for financial aid–it is the type of aid that differs. The type of aid you are offered is based on your level of financial need.

You can apply for the Data Science course here.

Financial aid is either need-based or non-need-based. Need-based financial aid includes subsidized loans, grants, scholarships, and federal work-study. Non-need-based financial aid is made up of unsubsidized loans, parent loans, and private loans.

UC Berkeley offers four types of financial aid awards:

Students who are eligible for these awards include California residents, U.S. citizens, and eligible noncitizens. International students are not eligible for federal financial aid or institutional aid managed by the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office at UC Berkeley.
